Below, you’ll find a detailed breakdown of our fees for various services. Please note that HST is applicable to all fee quotes and disbursements. Fees are based on straightforward cases and may vary if the matter is more complicated. Hourly rates are subject to change with notice to the client.

  • Between $450,000 and $850,000: from $950.00

  • Over $850,000: Please call for a quote 

  • Each mortgage (purchase) with Major Lender: from $450.00

  • Each mortgage (purchase) with Non-Major Lender: from $550.00

  • Each mortgage (purchase) with Private Lender: from $650.00

  • Purchase Disbursements (excluding Land Transfer Tax and Title Insurance): From $500.00

Residential Sale (excluding cottages/recreational property):

  • Between $450,000 and $850,000: from $1000.00

  • Discharge of mortgage (if required to be done by a lawyer): from $650.00

NOT INCLUDED IN SIMPLE TRANSACTION QUOTES: 

  • Negotiations related to the terms and conditions of the Purchase and Sale Agreement/ claims related to not-fulfilment of the Purchase and Sale Agreement;

  • Negotiations with the bank with regards to the terms and conditions of the mortgage;

  • Additional off- title searches  requested by clients;

  • Discharges of charges when banks require a law office to complete a discharge;

  • Registration of the restrictive covenants removal when clients request the same;

  • Extension fees if clients need to extend the date of closing;

  • All other work not listed in the services included.


All extra work is charged at the hourly rate of $380.00+HST
